Spotted Crake / Polluela pintoja
Maximum size: 23 cm
They live in wetlands, marshlands, rivers, water-streams and watercourses
with abundant reed or bulrush vegetation where they hide most of the time.
They feed on insects and invertebrates they find on the banks of lagoons
They are migratory and they can be found in the peninsula in the pre
and post-mating seasons.
They are hard to be seen.
