Corn Bunting / Triguero
Maximum size: 18 cm
They live in open spaces, barren planes, steppes, riverbanks, lagoon-banks,
marshlands and steppe croplands. They can be seen perching on posts, fences
or branches where they can survey looking for prey.
The increase in agricultural areas is one of the main threats due to
the use of insecticides.
The disappearance of vantage points, such as posts, is being a threat
for the feeding of their progeny.
