Greater Short-toed Lark / Terrera común
Maximum size: 16 cm
They live in flat, barren lands, dry, non-irrigated lands, ravines,
meadows, steppes and coastal dunes.
They nest in the Iberian Peninsula.
They can be seen throughout the year. They take up the marshes and
paddy-fields, as well as the surroundings
of flooded fields. They can also be seen in non-flooded mashes.
They are very abundant in summer.
